What is the difference between all the different baby strollers and car seats?
I know a lot of people are using the convertible units even though I don't really know what they are ? I know I can purchase the stroller and car seat apart but can I purchase them together do they detatch and hook into one another? Are they worth buying? I am confused about all the different options. Please help.
Why when teenagers are pushing baby strollers do people assume its their child?
Okay so I did the baby project for my parenting class, and I was walking around with my " baby" and I got some of the dirtiest looks, and had to explain that it's just a doll. So then I started thinking, what if I'm just babysitting someone' child? Or am out with a baby cousin or something? Why do adults just jump to the conclusion that the girl got pregnant and kept it?

Travel systems, car seats, and baby strollers?
I am confused regarding whether I should get a travel system or a separate car seat and baby stroller. What age span are travel systems designed for?What will be cheaper and more practical in the long run?I don't think I'll be needing the stroller at all or that often until the baby is at least 4 months old...What would you recommend?

Poll: travel system OR light weight baby strollers?
i like the travel system,but its so heavy and bulky even when its folded..i like the light weight because its light but i still need a car seat... what should i do? jen, i wish they were that cheap in my counrty the travel system costs around 480 $ and the light weight is around 130 $ i cant afford both

Have an opinion about baby strollers?
I am about to be a second time mom. We purchased a Graco Metrolite travel system with our first, which is now too old to reuse. I did not love the Metrolite, though had no major complaints. We would like to purchase a stroller that will accommodate a pumpkin seat, but can also accommodate our 4 year old son when necessary. I had surgery on my arm a few years ago, so I need something that is incredibly lightweight and maneuvers well. I am finding that the ones we like are either too small for my tall guy despite the upper weight limits being OK he is about 40inches and 37 lbs , or are way too heavy for me to want to use it regularly. Does anyone have any suggestions?My needs are as follows 1 Can accommodate a pumpkin seat2 Upper weight limit of at least 50 lbs3 Lightweight > 20 pounds max4 Great maneuverability5 Some storage space underneath though not much required 6 Cup holder and or snack tray for the kids7 Reasonably pricedWe are a very " on the go" family, so I need this to be VERY portable, but also comfortable for both children. If you have done a lot of stroller research and might have an opinion on this, please feel free to weigh in Thanks so much
Is it wise to bring your own baby stroller on a cruise?
I am planning to take a cruise with a 11 month old baby. Should we bring our own baby stroller or does the cruise ship provide baby strollers for free rental?
